Hi all, welcome back to my makeup blog!
I apologise for my absence and lack of blogging over the past year; A-levels were an absolute whirl-wind that took over my life. However, now school education and A-levels are over I finally have free time to get back into blogging again!
As it has been well over a year since I last blogged, I have decided to redesign my blog, vamp it up and change the style. In doing so, I have made my previous posts private in order to give my blog a fresh start. I initially made this blog after I finished my GCSE’s in the summer of 2016. Now, in the summer of 2018, my plan of action is to treat this blog as if I was starting it over again; this is due to personal preference and self-made extremely high standards. Not only have my standards increased over the past two years, I also feel as though my makeup skills in themselves have drastically improved. So, I didn’t want posts that I wasn’t 100% pleased with still being on show.
Once my A-levels were over and my summer had officially started, I had every intention to get back into blogging straight away. However, catching up on sleep and end of exam celebrations meant that I didn’t have much free time, in my first two weeks of summer, to properly sit down and focus on restarting my blog. Below I have included pictures of some of the makeup looks I created for end of exam celebrations.
After an extremely busy first two weeks of summer, my summer plans did not slow down; for the next three weeks of my summer I was on the go none stop as I interrailed around Europe. Now that I’m back and fully recovered from touring around eight amazing destinations in three unforgettable weeks, I have found myself with a lot of free time to focus on reinventing my blog.
Watch this space over the next few weeks for new blog posts, exploring the world of makeup from my perspective. Within my blog I will be writing posts, comparing and reviewing makeup products as well as describing how I created certain makeup looks. Come September, I will be enrolling onto a professional makeup course with the outcome to become a qualified makeup artist. Throughout my blog I aim to document my journey of pursuing my passion into a (hopefully successful) career.
Below I have included a few of my favourite pictures from my unbelievable interrailing trip.
Bye for now, don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for new posts! 🙂
